Campaign to Protect Rural Essex

Description

CPREssex carries on the work of the Campaign to Protect Rural England right across the county.

 

CPRE is a national charity which helps people to protect their local countryside from threat and to keep it beautiful, productive and enjoyable for everyone.

 

The Campaign to Protect Rural Essex, CPREssex, is the county branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England. CPREssex is registered charity no.1094178 and a company limited by guarantee, registered in England, no 4536412. 

 

The branch has over 1000 individual members throughout Essex, together with many Parish Councils, amenity societies and other organisations.

 

Our Advisory Council meets every two months in Chelmsford, the County Town. Many members of the Advisory Council attend on behalf of affiliated organizations, local councils, our own district committees together with individual members.
